Eban Green Investment Network is born to support new environmental businesses

The new network of investors specialised in the environmental sector, Red Eban Green Investment, was created with the aim of joining the Basque entrepreneurial ecosystem and providing investment capabilities and the technical and market knowledge of the members of Aclima, Basque Environment Cluster.

Its main goal is to identify and support new business initiatives in the environmental market, providing financial capital and sectoral knowledge.

The activity of this network focuses on those business initiatives that offer services, products or technologies that make industrial sectors, cities and society as a whole more sustainable.

It is therefore presented as a network of investors exclusively for our sector, which consists of an impact investment that will strengthen the Basque environmental sector and contribute to the sustainability of the territory.

The Network supports business projects in any geographic area that require financial investment, market allies, specialised accompaniment, or seek to grow and consolidate their proposal.

The investment group will support member companies in the search for technological solutions to address challenges such as optimising internal processes, boosting digitalisation, identifying new ways to promote the circular economy or diversifying into new business models.

It therefore aspires to become a specialised agent in the ecosystem of support for entrepreneurship in the Basque Country, which mobilised nearly 80 million euros in investment in 2023 to support new business initiatives.

This platform aims to support new entrepreneurs, as well as intra-entrepreneurship projects and new business proposals arising from universities and technology centres.

The investment will therefore enable the creation of synergies, generating innovative ideas and developing new products or services that can be implemented in Basque companies, thus advancing towards greater environmental sustainability.

The Network has been in operation for 3 years, identifying over 300 new investment proposals for Aclima.Through Red Eban Green Investment, we want to continue to strengthen both the competitiveness and growth of individual companies and the market as a whole.
