A North Wales compnay has received a funding boost in its bid to pioneer a method of recycling medium-density fibreboard (MDF).
Anglesey-based MDF Recovery revealed it had secured a further £165,000 from individuals who had previously backed the business.
It also recently appointed two non-executive directors, former Barrett Dixon Bell marketing agency founder Henry Dixon and chairman of law firm Hillyer McKeown Steve Harvey.
MDF Recovery said it had successfully concluded trials to prove its concept as it works to develop a commercially viable process to recover wood fibre from waste MDF.

More than 75 million tonnes of MDF are produced globally every year, servicing the furniture, construction and DIY markets.
Suez Recycling and Recovery UK and public body Innovate UK have previously supported MDF Recovery.
