This approach enables developing and testing aesthetic and structural composite parts for various markets such as luxury and mobility. The R&T and production capacity of the facility in Lyon area enables producing materials and parts for series of several thousand units
- Full Description
- The company can design and manufacture materials and parts from composite by-products from the European aeronautical industry. To meet the challenge of valorizing these exceptional materials, the company has developed a process allowing it to transform these by-products into a
new material: CARBONIUM®.
Combining mechanical properties, low environmental impact and a totally unique aesthetic,
CARBONIUM® has already won over luxury watchmaking. Since then a dozen of material ranges have been developed for various domains of application.
In few years of existence, the company has been awarded several times for its singular
approach.
The young company: – was one of the 20 finalist projects certified during the 6th edition of the Lyon Start-up acceleration program – provided materials to the watchmaker Ulysse Nardin for their X collection – was selected among 122 start-ups from 30 countries to pitch at the JEC Startup booster of JEC World 2019 – was chosen to join the 5th edition of the Airbus BizLab acceleration program – was distinguished at the “Victoires de l’Innovation 2019” in the Disruptive Innovation category – saw CARBONIUM® labeled as one of the “1000 solutions for the planet” from the Solar Impulse Foundation
- Advantages and Innovations
