Value circle: ODS 6

The Aclima Clean Water and Sanitation Value Circle integrates a wide range of organisations working in water and sanitation activities, grouping together companies, knowledge centres and public water management and research entities. All these organisations aim, firstly, to improve water quality and promote recycling and reuse, and, secondly, to manage water resources more efficiently through an integrated and intelligent approach that ensures both the quantity and the ecological and sanitary quality of available water bodies.

Organisations that solve problems, supply equipment and develop technologies across various fields of application (ranging from extracting, exploiting, and purifying water for consumption; improving the supply and treatment of wastewater; enhancing the quality of sanitation water, treating and reusing it; and detecting emerging contaminants) also provide a full range of services to digitise and equip systems with sensors for managing these water networks. These organisations also have equipment and laboratories of the highest technological level to present analysis and testing services, focused on both industry and administration.

Aclima also brings together organisations that provide expert knowledge and services in engineering, design, installation and technical maintenance of water facilities and machinery. There is also the capacity to provide water consultancy services such as: analysis and urban redesign of rainfall flows, integrated environmental authorisations and discharges, monitoring plans, etc. Finally, it is worth mentioning that there are also capacities for the control and monitoring of the fauna and flora that inhabit the river basins and which are essential for the conservation of ecosystems.
