Value circle: ODS 12

Aclima’s Responsible Consumption and Production Value Circle encompasses organisations specialised in the safe, integrated management of waste, whether urban, industrial or any other (e.g. sanitary), offering solutions for minimisation, reuse, recycling, recovery, management, material and energy recovery and final disposal through good planning and logistical solutions, along with specific equipment and treatments for integrated management that minimises the environmental impact.

Aclima member organisations work to improve the efficiency of economic sectors and reduce the environmental impact of their processes, products and services by enhancing material usage and adopting new schemes and innovative technologies to create cleaner, more sustainable processes and products throughout their life cycle. They also have the capacity and expertise to offer all kinds of consultancy and advisory services in the technical, technological and legal fields for both the public and private sectors.

In this line, these organisations work on the design and implementation of innovative technical projects in numerous fields such as: the integration of life cycle thinking schemes in industrial organisations and their supply chains; the application of technical services for the evaluation and environmental improvement of organisations and their products; the research and design of new circular business models; the testing, application and use of new circular materials; or the design of production processes that move towards zero waste management.
